Smart PDF/A Scanner turns your iPhone or iPad into a full-fledged scanner. Just take a picture of your document and this application will convert it to a high-quality, compressed PDF/A document. The Smart PDF/A Scanner is built on top of the Smart PDF/A Technology platform, giving you an easy and fast way to convert your paper documents into PDF/A documents.
Features:
- Edge Detection & Distortion Correction
Automatically finds the edges of the physical document in the photo and recreates the image with its original colors and geometric proportions. The built-in algorithms enable it to correct geometric distortions introduced during the scanning process. This enables the user to accommodate pictures taken from a variety of angles.
- Color Correction
Special color correction algorithms enable the system to correct light distortions introduced via photo based scanning and compensate for shadow effects.
- Efficient Compression
The Smart PDF/A MRC algorithms creates highly compressed, low bandwidth files for easy sharing. The exported documents are 8-9 times smaller than an equivalent JPEG file saved while preserving 90% of the quality. This conversion enables the scanning of color documents without losing any text, signatures or seals.
- Saved format
PDF/A-1b is an ISO-standardized (ISO 19005:1-2005) version of the classical Portable Document Format (PDF) specialized for preserving electronic documents. The PDF/A-1b files are guaranteed to be supported by every modern PDF readers.
- Saving modes
Original – generate PDF/A document based on original image.
Normalized – generate PDF/A document based on color corrected image.
Smart Color – generate highly compressed color PDF/A document.
B&W – generate highly compressed black and white PDF/A document.
- Share & Print
Created PDF/A document can be easily printed or sent via email without leaving the application.
